House mate rules 2 weeks’ notice required if you want to vacate the property • Pay rent on time every Wednesday (setup automatic payments) • Clean your room and make sure it’s always tidy and be ready for sudden visit of land lord • Do not spit in kitchen area • Clean after yourself and surroundings always • Clean your own dishes as soon as you use and keep it clean all time • Use your own toothbrush toothpaste shampoo soap tissues detergent dishwasher etc • Use your own groceries, veges, food items, curd and milk etc • Use your own cutlery and utensils • Clean stove all the time after you use it and make sure it is turned off after use as it consumes most of the power • Limited usage of hot water and power is much appreciated, excessive use of stove and heaters and hot water lead to more power bill • Fair usage of water is included in rent • Talk your personal calls inside your room • Clean washroom alternatively or try to help when one cleans • Empty bins when you find them full and put your own garbage directly into red or blue bins and help putting bins out fortnightly • Use washroom for limited time making sure others want to use after you specially morning time when time to work • Close doors all the time and lock when you go out • You are responsible to pay if you damage anything in the property • No smoking • If any guest coming to visit you let us know before • Be friendly with a smile after all we are at one house 🏠
