House Rules To keep the home comfortable and enjoyable for everyone, we ask all flatmates to follow these simple rules: Cleanliness: Keep your bedroom clean and tidy, and clean up after yourself in shared areas. Kitchen: Wash dishes and clean the stovetop and benches after cooking. Don't leave dirty dishes overnight. Bathroom: Leave the bathroom clean and tidy after use. Shared spaces: Respect shared areas and keep them clutter-free. Noise: Be mindful of noise, especially after 10 pm. Keep music and TV at a reasonable volume. Guests: Please let other flatmates know before having guests over. Overnight guests should be discussed in advance. Smoking: No smoking or vaping inside the house. Parties: No parties or large gatherings without prior agreement. Bills: Pay rent and agreed shared expenses on time. Rubbish and recycling: Take turns putting out rubbish and recycling bins as agreed. Security: Lock doors and windows when leaving, and take care of keys and garage remotes. Respect and privacy: Respect everyone's privacy, belongings and personal space. Always ask before borrowing anything. Shared supplies: Agree on how to share or purchase household essentials such as cleaning products and toilet paper. Heating and electricity: Turn off lights and appliances when not in use, and be mindful of energy consumption. Communication: Communicate openly and respectfully if any issues arise.
